Rules and regulations are defined by Network Staff

The following is a list of rules to be followed while chatting on ChatSensations Irc Network.
If you fail to follow any of these policies then you can be denied access to ChatSensations and any other servers connected to ChatSensations. ChatSensations has a right to change any of the polices at any time, We reserve the right to terminate ANY domain name from the network.

When you enter a chat room in ChatSensations, it constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions listed below. If you do not agree to abide by our Code of Conduct, then please do not enter ChatSensations Chat Rooms.

The terms "Denial of Service" or "nuke" describe a type of attack against computers connected to the Internet, causing the computer to disconnect or crash. These attacks are illegal under Title 18, United States Code (maximum fine $4,000 or up to 2 years imprisonment). Often the victims are people on Internet Relay Chat (IRC), but nuking is not part of IRC, so you can't get back at these people through IRC, nor can IRCops sanction them.

Server Links

ChatSensations IRC Network welcomes anyone to link servers and join our network. All we ask is for you to meet the requirements which are listed below. All fields in the application are required.

Requirements:
Server MUST be intrested in helping ChatSensations.com grow, if your NOT intrested then dont bother.
Server MUST run on a minimum of a T1 this means NO Cable or DSL server applications, dont waste our time. Exceptions can be made by the Network Admin.
Server MUST be available to run 24/7, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and so on.
Server MUST have port 6667 avialable.
Server MUST run the ChatSensations IRCD.

O:lines Your allowed to have (1) Server Admin, (1) Co-Admin, (3) IRCops, and (2) locals. ( More IRCops can be adding depending on size of your server) Your chosen admin and co-admin/ircop will be giving Global IRCop privlages and Services Operator status. You may NOT include N in your o:line flag, that is reserved for the Network Amdinistration User base: You Must try to maintain a 10-20 user average on your server If you average 30 or more we will move you to a HUB server, not leaf. We will make exceptions on a need to basis.

30 day probation period.

no spamming your channels in other rooms.

all server staff is expected to assist all room operators when asked for help in any channel on the network.

if making scripts for server channels thats part of our network,there server must be set as the default server no exceptions.

be a good neighbor, no stepping on other server owners toes.

Any channel created on the network is not the networks responsibility. Complaints about a channel that are not against network policy should be taken up with the channels founder.

Disruptive Behavior

ChatSensations does not tolerate Disruptive behavior. Users are to respect other users online. Any user caught using disruptive behavior will be banned from ChatSensations Chat Network. Please report disruptive users to #Services or e-mail banned @ ChatSensations .net

Harassment

No Harassing Opers/admins of the Network ChatSensations views harassment according to the Operator online at the time. Please feel free to join #Services for help.

ChatSensations IRC is NOT responsible for the content of any channel created on this network. Nor is ChatSensations responsible for any loss or damage occuring while using any of our servers or services. Use of any channel is at your own risk.

1. No Harassing. 2 No Child Pornography.(18+ porn allowed.But not in teen or family rooms)
3. No Spoofing, No CTCP/Text Flooding
4. No Clones or Cloneing.Friendly eggdrops are allowed. ( Pending approved bot application. )
5. Don't ask for IRC operator status.(You may fill out op app. 20+ only)
6. You must obey the rules of any channel
7. No attacks of any kind, trojan, nuke, icmp, ect.
8. No advertising illegal services or hardware of any kind.
9. No spamming or advertising other networks.
10.Flooding Not Allowed any one doing so will be REMOVED with no explanations.

Channel Rules

ChatSensations Irc Network allows most all types of rooms to be created. If a channel seems too vulgar or disruptive in nature the Admins of ChatSensations have the right to forbid/close the channel. Our staff has a right to enter and idle in any channel for network reasons.If a staff member is in a channel for a network reason you are not allowed to kick or ban them for any reason or you could be banned for interfering in Network Business. ChatSensations Staff reserves the right to enter any channel and take any measures necessary to secure the network.
All rooms have rules and regulations which are set by the founder of the channel, which must be followed. Users have the right to express themselves in any way and language they want. Users must remember to follow the room owner's regulations.

We ask that they place in the room topic or EntryMsg that the room contains adult language. Any channel that promotes illegal activity is NOT allowed. Channels that are racist in nature are not allowed. Any room that doesn't follow ChatSensations rules will be CLOSED and FORBIDDEN at Staffs discretion.

A Valid Founders Email must be set to show with chanserv info. Else the channel can be closed. To do this type /msg chanserv set #channel email youremail@isp.com. We encourage chat room users not to give personal identifying information or passwords to anyone in the chat rooms. Users should be aware that, when they disclose personal identifying information such as their actual name, member name, etc. In a chat room, the information may be collected and used by others to send that person unsolicited email from other parties.

How to Get Help
If you have any problems or questions while chatting at ChatSensations you may get help by joining #Services. IF you feel a Operator is abusing their power, or is not helpful, you can report the problem by e-mailing banned @ ChatSensations .net. If you have been (BANNED) from our Network and request to come back you should first e-mail banned @ ChatSensations .net and give us a detailed explanation on why you think you should be allowed back on the Network.
